How to Update other Microsoft products from Windows Update

As we all known, Windows Update is a default feature on all Windows operating system, which this feature is “very recommended” will automatically running. Windows Update will be update your PC & Windows specs like drivers, security patch, etc…

Actually, you can still use Windows Update feature to perform update several important Microsoft’s products like MS Office, Notepad, OneNote, InfoPath, Outlook, etc with manually. This will keep your software up-to-date and save your hassle of searching and installing updates on your own.

How to enable this feature :

Make sure your PC is connected with internet, then open the Control Panel and find “Windows Update” feature. When the dialog show up, you can check what the current setting by looking at the text You Receive Updates, the default setting is “For Windows only”. After that, find and click on the link that says “Find out more” directly underneath.

After done steps above, you will be automatically redirect to your default web browser and load up Windows Update page like screenshot below, give checklist to agree some terms first to ask for permission download an updates.

Click on “Install” button, and then you may have to restart your Windows. Once you have restarted, go back to the Windows Update feature from Control Panel and it should now like this screenshot below.

As we can see, if you see “For Windows and other products from Microsoft Update” on You Receive Updates, your Windows and Microsoft’s softwares will be updates.
